So, being the skeptic that I am... I put this to the test. I made an appointment for my son to see Cory Felber-Kahn, PA-C. She injected my 16 year old, who suffers tremendously from this condition. To my amazement, he was perspiration-free after only a few days. I was convinced. However, my teenager needed to really put this treatment to the test. He explained he needed to attend a concert...for the sake of medical research of course. Hmmmm. He was amongst hundreds of young, active, screaming, dancing teenagers for hours. Help TERMINATE SB 1336, Write Governor Schwarzenegger

The California Assembly and Senate have recently passed and sent to the Governor a bill (Senate Bill 1336) which would allow Dental Surgeons to put profit before patient care, by allowing them to perform cosmetic surgery.

Dental surgeons don't have the same medical training as board-certified plastic surgeons. Dental surgeons are trained for surgery of the mouth and lower jaw, not for delicate cosmetic plastic surgeries. Dental surgeons are NOT trained to evaluate good candidates for cosmetic plastic surgery and consult with them about their decision, the risks and benefits from these procedures. Legislation is no substitute for education.

The legislation is now sitting on the governor’s desk and he needs to hear from you right away that SB 1336 is bad medicine for the State of California. The Governor must take action by August 30, so we need your support now. We urge you to tell everyone you know to take action and ask Governor Schwarzenegger to veto this legislation and preserve safe cosmetic plastic surgery for Californians.
