Even though this young woman was very fit, she still wanted an improved figure. She came to Marina Plastic Surgery Associates to find plastic surgery in L.A. that was right for her.
During her consultation with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons, she told her surgeon that she was unhappy with the shape of her inner and outer thighs as well as the unevenness on her flanks and abdomen. Her surgeon recommended that she have power-assisted liposuction on the areas she was dissatisfied with, mainly her abdomen, flanks, hips and thighs.
With power-assisted liposuction, a small electric motor attached to the liposuction tool is able to remove fatty deposits rapidly and efficiently and it is sometimes better at reaching hard-to-treat areas than other methods of liposuction. By using this method, her surgeon was able to tackle multiple areas of concern for this patient, giving her the touch-up she wanted in all the areas she was concerned about.
The "after" photos were taken the day after her surgery, so the preoperative markings and slight bruising is clearly visible. However, a noticeable, immediate change in her shape can also be seen. The bruising will fade shortly after surgery, but the results of her liposuction surgery in Los Angeles will last for a long time, assuming she take proper care of her body and maintains her weight.
