HALO LASER IN LOS ANGELES, CA

RESTORE YOUR LUMINOUS GLOW

Over time, your skin can lose its youthful glow due to sun exposure and your body’s natural aging process. As a result, your body may develop sun spots, fine lines, and lose that natural healthy glow. Previous lasers couldn’t effectively remove this damage, because the treatment was either too shallow or too deep. Halo eliminates years of damage by precisely targeting the right depth. Our Los Angeles Halo laser restores the luminous glow you had when you were younger.

HALO

At Marina Plastic Surgery, we are proud to offer the newest technology like the Halo Sciton laser treatment that delivers outstanding results. Halo is one of the most powerful and comprehensive skin rejuvenation lasers available today. It has been named as the most effective laser for glowing skin by New Beauty Magazine. Halo is a complete skin rejuvenation treatment that provides improvements in tone and texture as well as the reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

WHAT IS HALO?

Halo is a hybrid fractional laser that delivers ablative and non-ablative wavelengths (two lasers in one) to a specific area of your body to treat many skin conditions such as visible vessels and broken capillaries associated with spider veins. Halo can treat all skin areas, including the face, neck, chest, and legs. What does fractional mean? It refers to the treatment of only a fraction of your skin.

The ablative laser focuses on the superficial layer of your skin and remove damaged skin and stimulates the remaining skin to build healthy tissue. It rejuvenates the adjacent skin. The non-ablative laser goes deeper into the layers of your skin to treat various issues such as sun damage, pigmentation, scarring, and wrinkling.

TOP 10 HALO TREATMENTS

A Halo treatment at our Los Angeles med spa does far more than just reversing the signs of aging. Repair capabilities with the Halo laser far surpasses what was previously available with lasers. Halo offers the ability to get precision results. Here are many of the issues that can be improved and treated with a Halo Sciton laser:

Aging signs

Halo treatments can help deal with signs of aging by decreasing fine lines and wrinkles.

Blemishes

Do you find you have blemishes you want to get rid of? Halo treatments triggers your body's healing response.

Discoloration

If you have discoloration on your skin, Halo treatments can help improve and balance tone.

Fine lines and wrinkles

As we age, fine lines and wrinkles begin to form around our eyes and other facial areas. Halo treatments can help smooth the wrinkles resulting in a more youthful appearance.

Large pores

Sometimes, large pores are difficult to cover even with the use of makeup. Halo treatments can reduce the size of your pores to the point where you may not even need to use makeup to cover them.

Pigmentation

The Halo process can eliminate pigmentation on your skin

Small scars

Sometimes acne scars can continue to stand out even after puberty. You can decrease the appearance of small scars through Halo treatments to the point where it is barely noticeable to anyone else.

Spider veins

Are you tired of those visible spider veins? Let Halo help get rid of those veins and give you a more natural look

Sun damage

Exposure to the sun can cause a lot of damage over the years. Halo treatments can undo some of that damage to your skin and provide a smoother texture.

Uneven skin tone

Do you have darker skin in some areas of your face? Halo treatments can assist in evening out your skin tone and make those darker spots blend with the rest of your body.

PROCEDURE

A topical numbing cream is applied prior to your Halo laser treatment for your comfort. The integrated cooling technology also means you should feel little to no pain during your procedure. You may also feel heat and an occasional prickling sensation. Special eye-wear will also be provided to protect your eyes during the treatment. Using the three pre-programmed levels, your physician can control depth and wavelength, measure your skin temperature, change the density of energy and pulse width, and measure and adjust the scanning speed. It allows your physician to customize the treatment and provide you with amazing results. Most Halo procedures take about half an hour depending on which areas of the skin you have treated.

RECOVERY

There is little downtime with a Halo laser treatment. But the first 24 hours is important as far as keeping your skin protected. Many people go back to their normal routine after 24 hours and their recovery can take a few days. You will notice a bronzing effect on your skin which will begin to peel after a couple of days or so. You can apply makeup. On average, your new rejuvenated skin will begin to appear after three or four days. You won't have the noticeable effects from previous lasers, which could leave your skin looking sore and red for many days. The full results of a Halo treatment can take up to six months.

RESULTS

A Halo treatment will restore your skin's youthful glow and give you a radiant appearance. Your skin will be smoother with a healthy glow. There is little to no downtime and your skin will no longer have sun spots, fine lines, and wrinkles. During your consultation for Halo laser Los Angeles aestheticians at Marina Med Spa will work together to customize your treatment based on your specific individual needs and concerns.
