Dr. Grant Stevens to Speak in Rio de Janeiro at ISAPS 22nd Congress
First Ever Symposium on Emerging Technologies & Techniques in Plastic Surgery
Grant Stevens, M.D., FACS, a board certified plastic surgeon, founder of Marina Plastic Surgery in Marina del Rey, CA, and an international traveling professor, is a featured speaker at the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) 22nd Congress, September 19-22, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. ISAPS is the world's leading international body of board certified aesthetic plastic surgeons. The society provides a global interchange of ideas and knowledge for the advancement of aesthetic plastic surgery by providing ongoing continuing education in new procedures and techniques. Dr. Stevens serves on the ISAPS Board of Directors as Parliamentarian.
“ISAPS is one of the largest meetings of aesthetic plastic surgeons in the world with more than 1,500 participants and 500 speakers,” said Dr. Stevens. “As always, I’m honored to be a speaker and look forward to visiting this wonderful country and discussing new techniques with my colleagues.”
Dr. Stevens is scheduled to speak at ISAPS on the following topics: CoolSculpting; Breast and Body Contouring, Mommy Makeover; Improving Your Practice, Management & Marketing; and Advances in Body Contouring with Cryolipolysis, including Cryodermadstringo.
One day prior to the ISAPS meeting, while in Rio, Dr. Stevens will be speaking along with the world famous Brazil plastic surgeon Dr. Ivo Pitanguy at the first “Symposium on Emerging Technologies & Techniques in Plastic Surgery” meeting, which Dr. Stevens is co-chairing. He also serves on the faculty and will present “Moving from Surgery to Non-Invasive Approaches” and chair a panel on “Social Media, Simulation Software, Websites, Virtual Consultations, Legal and Ethical Aspects.” Dr. Stevens said, “I am excited about the technologies conference which addresses profound changes in plastic surgery as a result of the international reach of the Internet and social media, as well as the fast-evolving move from surgical procedures to non-invasive ones.”
Dr. Stevens is the founder and medical director of Marina Plastic Surgery in Marina del Rey, California. He is also the Chairman of the USC-Marina Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship and the Director of the USC Division of Aesthetic Surgery. He is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the USC Keck School of Medicine, Division of Plastic Surgery. He is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons. Dr. Stevens is also on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
