This 59-year-old woman was unhappy with her "tired" eyes and wanted to do something about it. Her surgeon listened as she expressed her concerns about her appearance. He then examined her skin and eye area to assess the work that needed to be done and concluded that she would benefit from lower eyelid surgery. During her procedure, he would remove the excess fatty tissue beneath her eye and give her a more refined look. He mentioned that the surgery would also help correct the fine lines near the outer corners of her eyes and make her look more youthful. She agreed to the procedure and scheduled an appointment with her Los Angeles plastic surgeon.
She is pictured 1 year after her operation and shows a significant improvement in the contour of her eye area.
