Dr. Grant Stevens Speaks on CoolSculpting at Asian Pacific Laser Medicine Conference
A world leader in the use of CoolSculpting®, Dr. Grant Stevens, a plastic surgeon in Los Angeles, recently spoke about his extensive experience with the fat-freezing procedure at an international conference in Taiwan.
Marina Del Rey, California (November 2012) – Grant Stevens, M.D., FACS, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Los Angeles and founder of Marina Plastic Surgery in Marina Del Rey (www.marinaplasticsurgery.com), was a featured speaker at the Asian Pacific Association for Laser Medicine & Surgery's recent conference. The group's 14th annual meeting was Nov. 23-25 at the Taipei International Convention Center in Taiwan.
Dr. Stevens' presentation was titled "CoolSculpting: Treatment to Transformation" and highlighted his experience with the patented, non-invasive procedure that selectively reduces fat layers in problem areas using a patented cooling technology. Dr. Stevens was also slated for a press conference in Taiwan on the same subject.
"Patients are seeing a reduction of fat in the treated areas in as soon as three weeks following treatment. It offers dramatic results," Dr. Stevens said.
Cleared by the FDA, CoolSculpting gently cools unwanted fat in the body to induce a natural, controlled elimination of fat cells. This reduces bulges in treated areas of the body without harming surrounding tissue. It involves no needles, surgery or downtime. Since the CoolSculpting procedure is non-invasive, patients can resume daily activities, including work and exercise, immediately following treatment.
