Exilis is an exciting new technology that delivers radiofrequency (RF) energy for non-surgical body contouring and skin tightening. Our Los Angeles patients are discovering the advantages of this treatment for slimming areas of the body and face and firming up their skin all without the need for a surgical procedure. Unlike surgical body contouring options such as liposuction, Exilis requires no incisions, and no downtime is needed.

About Exilis Treatments
During an Exilis treatment, precisely controlled radiofrequency (RF) energy is used to heat the deeper layers of the skin. This heat causes fat cells to shrink and contracts the skin tissue, stimulating new collagen production in the process. Exilis is safe for use on many areas of the body and face, including the neck, midsection, thighs and arms.
The Exilis platform was designed to deliver energy in a short treatment duration for greater patient convenience and comfort. Generally, a series of treatments will be required to achieve the desired result. The number of treatments will depend on your existing cosmetic concerns and the goals you want to achieve.
You may start to see some body contouring and skin tightening results after just 1 to 2 Exilis treatments, but in most cases optimal results will be achieved only after the third or fourth treatment. Treatments will be spaced out over 1 to 2 week intervals. Since there is no downtime or special care required once you leave the office, you can carry on with the rest of your day's activities immediately following treatment.
During your consultation, we can discuss the full range of body contouring and skin tightening procedures available at our practice, including liposuction, Smartlipo™, CoolSculpting™, ZERONA™ and Thermage®. You can count on Marina Plastic Surgery for the latest skin care and body slimming treatments.
