This 49-year-old woman wanted to her eyes to "pop" more. Tired of applying eyeliner daily, she decided to find out more about permanent makeup in Los Angeles and see if it could help solve her dilemma. After researching several cosmetic surgeons in Los Angeles, she contacted Marina Plastic Surgery Associates for a consultation.
When she met with her surgeon, she told him her concerns and asked him about permanent makeup. He explained that is was a process similar to tattooing, where he would use a small vibrating needle to inject micropigment under the skin to create permanent definition around her eyes. The process is used to add definition to many areas including the brows and lips and is often used to treat discolored skin. For this patient, her surgeon would apply a black line on the edges of her eyes, mimicking eyeliner. It would take only a little time, but the results of the process would permanently solve her problems.
After the procedure was over, her "after" photos were taken to show the results. Her eyes are far more defined than before and the permanent makeup makes it look as though she is simply wearing eyeliner. She was very happy with the results.
